I'm not sure about the on/off codes above the
off sometimes locks the tv although this is apparently
only possible if requested for 3 seconds from
the remote !

Are the 7000 codes above the thomson specific
ones ??

What would be the way forward to work this out
?

I guess it would be possible to build a circuit
to capture the IR and convert to HEX as in daves
