Anyone have any information reguarding discrete on and off codes for the PDP-6010FD or any of the other (KURO) 8G Pio panels ?

If you have Pronto Edit4 you can open a ccf at pioneerelectronics.com, Support, Custom Install. Enter an email address and you have access to codes for all current Pioneer product and recent (4 years) product.
Have fun!

Maybe I'm a total newbie but what is Pronto edit4?

It's the editting software for older Pronto remotes.
Most PC programmable remote controls can use the hex codes from a ccf file opened in ProntoEdit4.
But...
I should have asked what remote you are going to program. That is important.
If you search the files section at remotecentral you will find different configurations for the various remote brands. Most all should have the discrete On & Off for Pioneer panels. The codes have been used for a few years.

Hi. I get all the way through to the model number number link in custom install, but can;t find anywhere to enter my email address and when I click on the model link get the message "Vignette portal - this system is unavailable". Any suggestions?

Peter,
The site's editing software was being upgraded this past weekend. I can't download files either.
So...
Looks like I have some work to do!
If it's not working later today, what codes do you need for panels? What remote control are you using?

I'm using the VXX3208 remote for the LX70 blu-ray player, and just want discrete on and off for the player. The power toggle is:

0000 0066 0000 0044 0155 00AE 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0400 0155 00AE 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0040 0016 0016 0016 0400

I have had trouble learning discreet Input buttons for the new Kuro. Have you found hex codes for this? If so would you care to enlighten me?

Everything is here -
[Link: pioneerelectronics.com]
I'm not on my work computer so I can't cut and paste the Pronto hex at this time. Pronto hex is what you want - right?
If not Pronto what are you using?
There are full Pronto ccf URC mxf files on the Pioneer site.
