You also have mail.

Tgrugett,

For some reason, I did not get your last email of the .ccf.

Could you please re-send it to me?

Thanks,
Tim

...did you use codes from the list?

Any thing in particular that you observed (ie inputs working or not, which ones etc...)?

Hello tgrugett (& others),

If have tried all the discrete ON and OFF codes indicate in this Forum for my Sharp LC-37XD1. They are not working. Am I doing something wrong or could it be that the IR-system is different.
Do you (or someone else) know more about this?

Thank you in advance,

Gerard

I am not aware of any alternate power codes.

What control system are you using? Details about your control system and particular configuration may help.

I would make sure your copy-n-paste methods did not truncate the code somehow and that you do not have any issues with your settings, RF configuration, etc...

If you can learn the power and input codes from your native remote and send them to me, I would be happy to take a look at them and see if I can determine the particulars.

I have tried every single one of these, but I cannot find one that will switch a model LC-37D43U to input 6 (PC input). I can get to inputs 1-5 using the above codes (thanks for posting these!). Does anyone have any ideas about input 6?

This is a known issue and has been discussed many time. You may be SOL.

Search Sharp +HDMI or Sharp +"input 6"

Looking at doing a system with 16 Sharp LC42BT10U. It’s a new B-to-B unit with a 3 Yr. warranty. We need the discrete codes for RF and component inputs. I'm assuming the direct input of channel numbers will switch it to the RF tuner input. Both input 1 & 2 have component or composite video input connections.
So far no luck with Sharp tech service. Does anyone know anything about this unit? Any input would be appreciated!
Thanks!
Steve

Should I assume that you tried the codes from the first post in this thread?

I have never had the component or composite input commands not work on a Sharp. I have not seen every model and I do not know what they are doing with the newer models but everytime I do one... no problem except for HDMI on some of the sets.

Hello tgrugett,

Sorry, that it took so long for this reply.
The remote I use is a Pronto RU960.
Below I have the learned ON/OFF code of my original remote of the Sharp LC-37XD1E.

0000 006C 0000 0020 000A 0047 000A 001F 000A 001F 000A 001F 000A 001F 000A 001F 000A 0047 000A 0047 000A 001F 000A 0047 000A 001F 000A 001F 000A 001F 000A 0047 000A 001F 000A 06D2 000A 0047 000A 001F 000A 001F 000A 001F 000A 001F 000A 0047 000A 001F 000A 001F 000A 0047 000A 001F 000A 0047 000A 0047 000A 0047 000A 001F 000A 0047 000A 06D2

Additional info:
The discrete OFF code with label 17/75 does work, but the discrete ON code with label 17/74 does NOT work.

All input codes are taken from previous threats and do work properly.

regards,

Gerard

I have just purchased the LC42BT10A and have not recieved them yet. But just got 2 excel sheets of IR codes from the factory and will look at them this weekend to see if they match. One of the sheets has 53 commands. Its been a while since I've done this sort of stuff. I'll need to get the IR codes into a Xantech touch panel.

Please mail me the documentation. I would love to take a look.

I imagine that they are all contained in the codes I posted at the beginning of this thread. I collected those codes from a number of sharp documents and other learned sources. All of those codes posted are cleanly generated.

I am struggling to get any of the Input 3 codes to work on my LC-30HV4E. Inputs 1, 2, 4 and PC work as expected. Input 3 tells me that Teletext is unavailable and does not try to change the input.

Any ideas?

There are two versions each of input 1,2 and 3 codes.

Usually both versions for each code will work, however, some are exclusive to a particular set. I thought that I had documented the input codes that have been used as teletext codes on some sets. Did you try both versions of input 3?

These are from my list in the first post.

I imagine that you only tried the first one you saw.
