Have they worked consistantly (i.e., the player didn't say "closed" after turning off and then on)?
Any chance you could look up the Pronto version of the codes that worked?

I experimented with the Pronto codes about 5 or so times on and off with no problem. I've probably used the OFA codes about 15 times on and off, also with no problem.
I'm pretty sure it was set 1 from that worked for me, but I'll check and post which one for sure.

I did some more testing with both of the code sets listed in the Pronto file area. Both seem to work equally well.
The only odd behavior I've seen on my RP82 is, if I power it down with a disk in the tray, when I power it back up, once in a while (i.e. ~10%) of the time, it comes up displaying "Play" on the front panel, yet, it's not playing, and all controls are locked out, except play. Pressing play always started the disk playing. I've only seen this happen when something was playing (i.e. the counter was counting) when I hit OFF. I've also only seen it, when I was repeatedly turning the unit on and off to test the codes.
Hope it helps,
Pete
