I recently had to do this with my Trueteck television. I did the
1.select and mute while the remote is in tv mode. hold this down until it blinks
2 times.
i then put in 9911
then i hit power button on direct tv remote until it blinked.
i then start hitting the up channel button until it went off.
i then hit select then the power button.
for some reason there is a slight delay before it responds to the code.
the same direction are found in the direct tv remote manual.
i see this has been since september, so you probably found a way already. It took me about an hour to figure this one out.

I lost my remote control to my LCD 19 TV/DVD combo manufacture in 2007 and bought at Target on black Friday. Can anyone please tell me which universal remote will work with this TV or a code to use. Or a Custumer service number for trutech so I can contact them and get a replacement sent to me. Thank you very mucho
