i cant speak for the MX but Nevo SL software has the option of adding a hex code -just cut and paste. and yes, most software will require all those numbers.(at least i know Nevo and Pronto do)

Hi all,
PLEASE--I am in desperate need of the codes for Just and Full aspect ratios. If anyone has any leads (like which device to search), let me know!!
Here are all the discrete codes that I've found/gathered from various sources. Notice HDMI 2. Btw, I did this on a 58PX600U. Hopefully it is the same on other Panasonic sets.
Power on is 128.0, function 62 0000 0071 0000 0032 007F 0040 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0AAB

Wow, after hours of searching this was the only post with codes that worked in my TSU3000. All of these except the 'Power On' worked for my Panasonic DLP PT50DL54J. How can I tweak it so it would work.

OK, I am new to this, so sorry for probably a basic question: I have the Panny 50x600U TV. I have an MX-900 coming in the mail. I will need discreted codes.
How do I make use of all the codes (Hex?) posted in this thread? Where do I cut and paste to, and how do I get it into the software that configures the MX-900?
Also, does it really take that many numbers just to invoke a single discrete command?

I'm also looking for discrete codes for the antenna/coax input (I've got discrete HDMI input working fine) and also the Aspect Full, Aspect 4x3, and Aspect Just modes. This is for the TH-42PX6U / TH-42PX60U / TH-42PX600U series, but I think the codes match for most of the similar plasmas.

Doesn't a channel up switch to antenna/coax? I though it did.
Anagoge, many of use are dying for discrete aspect ratio!!! Please post the codes!!!
Edit: Anagoge, now that I re-read your post, it sounds like you do NOT have the aspect ratio codes, but were just asking for them.

in my searches for codes, I have not found any discrete aspects for the 60U or 600U models,
channel up will take you to antenna but one channel up from where you were before you went to another input...say you were on ch 45 and went to component 1 and did a channel up to return...your now on 46. Best way is a tv/video and 1.

Glackowitz, you are right - channel up/down does work to switch to the coax/antenna input. But you are also right that it isn't really any better/faster than the input menu. Someday we'll hopefully get to the point that TV makers really care about providing reliable discrete codes, and don't make us all guess what they might be...

There are some discrete Panasonic aspect codes listed here: [Link: bruzziforum.com]I have not tried them yet, so they may not work. They may match the ones already in the Harmony IR code database, which I've verified do not work for a 60U set at least. They may work for older model sets, though.

Could you please email me the panasonic discrete codes. I'm trying to program a Marantz to control a Panasonic TH-42PX600U and having to use a really strange set of macros to get the switching to work correctly. My email is [email protected]Thanks
