Direct tuning for preset radio stations is not
possible with supplied remote but I was able to
use numeric codes from another model built into
the MX900 editor.
Well, at least there is a way.....
I had a hell of a time teaching the Sherwood codes
into the MX900. Is it just me or has anyone else
had this problem? Spent about two hours, using
every trick in the book, trying to teach zone
2 volume and input commands and got nothing to
work as consistently as the stock remote. Luckily
some of the Sherwood codes built into the editor
worked for zone 2 even though they were labled
as another type of button. The only one I'm missing
now is volume down for zone 2 and "stereo" mode
for main room control.
Are you saying that with the room 2 input commands from another model you are able to get direct input rather than the toggle inputs that the 771 remote has?
If I could get that functionality I'd be ecstatic. The room 2 volume I don't need....
I'm hoping that I can get the codes into my test MX950 and then learn them to a MX650 for the client (couldn't learn a thing into the MX650 from the 771 remote).
A rep sent me some codes he got into a MX900, but I have yet to be able to open the attachment. It's in some wierd extension. I find the viewer for the extension, and the codes work, I'll be happy to share them...
