Hi,
If anyone has encountered this problem let me know if you found a fix for it.
When the Replay unit sends an IR command to change channels on the B65 - the B65 displays the 'Channel Block Menu' because of an extra 'enter' or 'select' command (which works fine on other Sony units that need this command to execute channel changes). I have contacted both Sony and Sonic Blue (Replay) tech support and neither could help me with this situation. I have also tried other code sets from the Replay setup.
If the 'Channel Block Menu' display would time out quickly this would not be a problem - it stays on the screen for apx. 5 minutes before it goes out (this situation frustrates my client). Sony says there is no way to change the timing of the display or shut it off other than issuing another 'select' or 'enter' command. No can do in this situation - unless you know something different.
Thank you for your response

Steve,
I encountered this exact same problem. Here's what you do: 1)Get into the Menu and select SETUP 2)Go to CHANGING DIALUP AND INPUT SETTINGS 3)Select the input your SAT B65 is connected to 4)Go through the configuration process until you reach the IR codes on it 5)Press REPLAY ZONES 6)You're now in IR BLASTER FINE TUNING 7)Make sure ENABLE FINE TUNING is set to yes 8)Set MINIMUM # OF DIGITS to 1 9)Set SEND ENTER to no
This is mostly from memory, so don't shoot me if you need to tweak a little to get it right. But I'm pretty sure that the above steps will correct your problem.
Mike
