Steve,

I encountered this exact same problem. Here's what you do:
1)Get into the Menu and select SETUP
2)Go to CHANGING DIALUP AND INPUT SETTINGS
3)Select the input your SAT B65 is connected to
4)Go through the configuration process until you reach the IR codes on it
5)Press REPLAY ZONES
6)You're now in IR BLASTER FINE TUNING
7)Make sure ENABLE FINE TUNING is set to yes
8)Set MINIMUM # OF DIGITS to 1
9)Set SEND ENTER to no

This is mostly from memory, so don't shoot me if you need to tweak a little to get it right. But I'm pretty sure that the above steps will correct your problem.
