Have a client that will purchase a HD LCD rear projection if I can distribute the HD Sat signal and Local Off air digital to the new set in the bedroom. This is a 2nd home and he already has umteen receivers so I figure it makes sense. I've never distributed component so just curious what is the best way and can't find a component vid distribution amp.
The run will be approx. 65 feet.
Thanks,
CMack

Cable Electronics makes a component distribution piece. DSI Systems carries it.

By the time you are done doing this you MAY find you have a better and more workable system for not much more money (if any) by adding another HDTV receiver. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks Greg
QQQ,
I'll compare the numbers once I find the piece amd your probably right, but this is a 2nd home and this guy is one of those that thinks Hmmmm 5 bucks a month times 12 months is 60 bucks times ten years is 600. You know the type.
Thanks

look at Audio Authority's 985U. It is a DA with one in each of:
coax audio
left and right analog audio
composite video
component video
I don't remember if it has S, too

with four outputs of each and a cascading output so you can hook up more 985Us. You can use the cascading output as a fifth output if it will ALWAYS be terminated.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
