We use the Yamaha CDC-685 - knock on wood, they've been great!
The last Denon DCM I installed was a DCM-555 MkII. Tells you how long it's been since I sold Denon. They all broke then, too...

I wish I still had access to Yamaha. The CD transports were great.
I know the companies source players out to oem manufacturers but the price we pay for these things is crazy if it's just as crappy as the $99 special at Kmart.
My boss and I are thinking of switching to Sony DVD changers for our systems just to reduce call backs . We won't make any money on them, but at least they seem to work.
