Well, I have just installed my first Fujitsu, and I think they're great. What does anyone else think?
I've had it with Panasonic and people comparing the Viera with the D7/8 ranges, being undercut by the internet or such like, etc.
I can now have a range of panels with no online sales, policed retail prices, decent margin and just the best picture I have seen yet on a plasma. About time too.
What do you say to a client who would like to buy their plasma from elsewhere but everything else from you? I would be very interested to hear your responses to that too.
TIA

fujitsu's are alright, probably the best of the bunch as a raw plasma, i will take my dwin plasma any day of the week...but the fujitsu with a scaler would be my second choice

Been a Fujitsu dealer since they started doing plasmas. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Same here on the Fujisu, great display. As far as people buying a plasma from others, depends on the job/customer. We have found if you add in the shipping, sales tax and install we can be close in price so its not really an issue unless they are looking at some no name.

We display it side by side with the Elite. Close call which is better. Consensus around the store is that the Fujitsu is marginally better with live TV, and the Elite is better with movies, shows and SD

Been installing them for a while now...
Haven't taken a single one down for service.

We only sell Fuji's and we love everything about them. We sold Marantz (NEC) for a while but had very few sales compared to Fujitsu.

Fuji for those who want the best in silver, Pioneer Elite for those who want black.
By the way, since Pioneer has done away with their monitor-only pro1010HDI and gone strictly media box system on their 43" and 50" panels, does anyone have suggestions for a top-notch 50" panel (tv or monitor-only) that HAS to be in black and is easily 50 ft away from the equipment stack? I know that there are after-market companies that make these (key digital) legnth system cables for Pioneer,Sharp, and Sony media-box systems, but I would prefer to stay away from them in this install. Just fishing for other input on this subject. Thanks for any help or ideas.

Well thanks, guys. I'm glad I went for them and now you've reassured me. I have to agree, the best picture around.
After speaking to my rep he told me that they were having a few original bezels sprayed up black as well as other finishes to see how they looked before going to production. I can't imagine that the operation in the US hasn't done/doing this already.
I really don't like the idea of an 'umbilical cord' to the plasma from a media box as you could be screwed in the future. I have a client where we installed his existing 50" panasonic years ago and now he's looking to upgrade and I know I'll have trouble shifting him away from this set-up now.

I've been happy with my Fuji sales but with Panasonic coming along with 42" HD plasma for $2,000 retail Fuji is going to be a tough sell for me. That's half the cost for a name brand panel, not a walhut special.
