Does anyone here have experience with this unit?

[Link: ada-usa.com]

I'm looking for feedback, and if possible some idea of retail pricing on the unit (please specify US, Canadian or other currency). You can email me, or post it here if you are comfortable doing so.

Reliability? Performance? Spec sheets? Any and all appreciated.

ALSO:

The ada-usa.com website doesn't seem to work for me. I can't navigate it to save my life. Does anyone know of a better link, or some way of contacting the company for info via email?

Thanks

htr 2400 is awsome. i beleive it retails for about $10k usa. only draw back is the video side only composite out to the 8 rooms....

all i own in my house is ada equipment.....

if you need to distribute video to more that 1 room via component i would suggest the ada suite 16 with component video set up, and use a suite 7.1 for your theater area.......that what i have ...ohh my god is it awsome........my theaater is hooked to a cinama reference by ada as well.

i have been an ada dealer for over 10 years now.......its awsome stuff.

It's close to a thwack, like a zit on the forehead, it keeps a thread out there to be seen and not buried.

By replying to my own post (with whatever).. it effectively moves my original thread to the top of the screen again.

I'm hoping to hear more about ADA, and so far you are the only one to respond. I just "bumped" the thread to the top of the page, fishing for more replies.

I'm in Canada, and to be honest, I'm not at all familiar with the ADA products. Their website sucks, I can't use the links at all, on IE or Firefox. I can't even find specs (ie amplifier power etc), and the product looks very cool. They aren't helping their business with a site like that though.

Smaller than a hill.

Not to be confused with bump and grind, which is better than a bump.

fluid what do you need to know....i asume you are a dealer? correct? the ada stuff is awsome, pricy but awsome, ive owned theirr stuff for about 10 years as well as being a dealer.

i have had only 1 issue with anything i have ever sold of theirs in a decade and they fixed it asap

audio quality will knock your socks of.....bar none the best in industry

only bad thing about ada isits a hard sell....its not a mass market product customers have head of...but once you hear and see it its an easy sell.

let me know what i can do for you......i know the guys at ada really well.....

I find their web site easy to navigate, and can find all of the spec sheets there as well, all without using the dealer section. The original cinema ref gave us some problems as well as some of he older systems Delta 88 and Conductor and Orchestra, but the suite 16's have been holdin up well, and their amps have always been great.

only cinema ref problem i've ever had is the dolby digital dts auto mode....and that was an easy fix.....

delta 88 was ok, conductor and orchestra never used we went from millenium to suite 16...and both of those peicces are bullit proof......

amps....to die for....lots of punch

I have been a dealer for awhile now and up to this point I can't say enough good things about them and their products. I would say the only negative and it really isn't if you plan ahead is placement which of course will be in your theater rack. You will have a lot of wires to deal with if you utilize the full potential of the whole house as well as theater. That being said the product is rock solid and do yourself a favor and use their keypads in each zone!

I worked for an ADA dealer in the late eighties/early nineties, and our only problem was their direct sales in our backyard. We were competing with them for business, and it got old fast. I did get to go on a few service calls to Peter's house before he died.

Very reliable, and at the time, quite cool. I'm glad to hear they've kept going and have current products that are of a quality nature, but my new boss won't even consider them, having had the same experience years ago.

I think is is a great product. We're installing one now, but we're running into problems getting the volume for the home theater side to respond to volume + and volume - push and holds on a Universal Remote MX 850. Right now our client remote is setup so the client has to push the vol button up or down several times to make a change. Does anyone know how to correct this?? I've tried every trick I know of to solve this problem (eg-push and holds when learning the code) but I've had little success.

This really can't be that complicated...it is an 11K receiver, so I would expect something as basic as this to work properly. Any thoughts??

push and hold.....remote probably only transmits codes once every time its held down. that is why they have to press it many times......

had a problem like that many moons ago with a cinema reference and a pronto ts2000
i beleive it was a firmware upgrade and relearn the codes to the remote.....

problem is not the ada equipment....how does the ada respond to the factory remote?
