My proposal format is 15 years old, and looks it. I'm thinking I need a facelift for these, and was wondering where I could look for examples to emulate and use as a starting point.

Right now I'm using Word to write it, and it is in essentially a letter format. I'm verbose, and I think that works against me in some ways.

Any ideas?

Take a look at some of the photos of proposals that Gary has posted on IP, they are pretty tight. We use D-Tools and just bought a binding machine to tighten up the look.
What part of "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." do you not understand?

CEDIA Idea Bank has several, including Audio Advisors and Harvey's...

I haven't DLed any of them as of yet, our old method in combination with my rap has been getting good results.

I have been browsing the Bank for ideas on effective ways to get in front of more qualified candidates for upscale services.

Yes, I've looked at the Idea Bank, but nothing I've seen there has knocked my socks off. I'll look at Gary's stuff on IP. Anyone care to email me an example? I'll show you mine if you show me yours....

Hey Theaterworks, if your proposels look half as good as your website then they're better than most.

I searched on IP, and didnt come up with anything. I searched for "proposal", "Gary", etc. Where do I need to be looking?

To those who have sent me examples of their work, I thank you. I am continually amazed at the power of this community of professionals, and hope that I can contribute even half as much as I get in return.

I was at the CEDIA management conference last week and asked quite a few people what they used for proposals....wnat to know the answer??

It wasnt D-Tools...ok 1 in 12 used parts of it and 1 used all of it but most were using MS Word, Excel, and a few misc others

that was a shocker

There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.
