Customer has 65” Samsung about a year old. We are controlling it through a Crestron system. He also uses his Bose Bluetooth headphones. When he turns off his headphones, he is not able to get volume control on the TV again. I was there about a month ago and even the Samsung remote won’t control the volume. I factory reset the TV and things went back to normal. The TV would switch properly from the headphones to the TV speakers. Customer reached out to me last evening and it’s now doing it again. Any thoughts?

Has anyone tried pulling power to the bluetooth headphones? In case it is still staying connected and refusing to release.
Depending on the Samsung TV model, I do believe you can go in the Samsung audio menu and it will tell you the currently used audio output.

I was anticipating far more excitement from Brad. Get two of his favorite brands together, figured he would have all kinds of editorial commentary. I was actually let down a little bit. 😀 😀 😀
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

The only power these headphones have is a bluetooth charging cable

???
There is a battery! How do you think they work when using them without cables.
Usually the battery is accessible by twisting the earcup(s). Pop in/out AA or AAA rechargeable.
Although some wireless headphones use Li+ batteries that are not easily accessible.
Not sure what BOSE uses, I would never use or sell such garbage. Happy Tom :)

[edit]
If the Samsung TV still refuses to switch back to TV speakers after you pull power to the headphones. Then it is 100% a problem with the Samsung. Another big surprise :)
