One issue with Procontrol is that if you don't have a copy of the program, you can't retrieve it to make any changes. You can't download it from the remote or processor. I think that's a major flaw.
I found that on an RTi T1B+ remote in a system that I was working on a couple of months ago- the original programmer is out of the business and I doubt he kept the files. I was able to retrieve the programming from the XP3 but didn't want to disable the remote by making any changes to it since the equipment is in a closet, out of view and having to operate any of it by walking to the closet would be out of the question.
It's like they weren't aware that it could have been done.
