David, you are literally a plague on this site.   You are single-handedly ruining this site that many of us have been a part of for more than a decade.   I can't understand for the life of me why you're still allowed to post anything on any topic.

I haven't attacked any kids, just a parent for having so many. Someone on this same thread brought up how someone else should consider committing suicide. But, okay, I'm the only bad person on here.

The thing is, this virus is definitely pointing out a blazingly obvious contradiction between two types of Americans: "Patriots" and "Nationalists".

A Patriot is someone who wants the best for his or her country even if that means criticizing the government from time-to-time for not doing the right thing. A Nationalist (also known as Blind Patriotism) is someone who supports the "Dear Leader" no matter what. Donald Trump is that "Dear Leader" to a lot of you and it scares the pants off of me. I know many Republicans who criticized G.W. Bush and I know many progressive Democrats who criticized B.H. Obama - including me. But for some unknown reason, this Trump guy can do absolutely no wrong with almost half the country. It's like his poop don't stink (or maybe like North Korea, the Dear Leader has trained himself so he no longer even needs to poop).

I continue to scratch my head, and from my perspective it's the right wing who really has this TDS.

I think you should start a thread called.."David's Thoughts On The World At Large".  Then when anyone wants to see what you think about a certain subject, can just click on over and read your thoughts on any number of subjects.  I think that would be perfect.  Then, if you get into an argument, it's their fault.  They showed up in your thread.

But seriously, this type of stuff is ruining this forum.  So, I'm asking you as one person to another.  Will you please stop making everything about politics and religion for the good of the forum?

Have you noticed that the traffic here is way down? There's a direct correlation between these types of arguments and the lack of traffic.  People who've been members here for years, simply aren't coming here anymore.

To hi-jack a thread dealing with such a serious subject whether it's medically or financially, is just too much.

Without all the constant negativity, we might be able to help each other get through this. Maybe come up with ideas, etc.  To deal with this mess that we're all currently in.

So, I'm begging you.  Just stop it.

Or, you could actually do two things:

1. Read what I write and put some serious thought into some of the things I say instead of dismissing them out of hand because it was a posting by me.

2. Read some of the other posts in this same thread and ask yourself "Really. Is it only davidcasemore that says oh so terrible things?"

But that would take work and effort.
