Control 4 site working for y’all?

Long time Triad dealer here. C4 site never worked well for me though I would intermittently have problems. One day I couldn’t scroll down the product tabs, then the next time I would get a blank page and then the next time there are no product tabs. I have been around and around with different people about this and they either tell me I’m not doing it right or I’m using the wrong browser, or a couple of people have concurred there are some problems with the site, which I thought was a miracle. Happens intermittently over all browsers and after clearing cookies and all that BS. Mobile versus PC. I’ve been told both ways are wrong. Dozens of phone calls.

Since the beginning it has taken me anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes to place an order, look up pricing, or just look up a dimension for framing. Now for the last few days the site will not work for me at all I only get the search tab over on the left.

I love the product but this is really starting to wear me out. Anyone else experiencing this? If not, could it have something to do with me not being a C4 dealer and it’s just not getting reported by anyone else?

It seems to be OK for me at the moment, using a MacBook with El Capitan/Safari. I have another MacBook that is still on Yosemite and that thing has all kinds of web page viewing issues.

So much of this industry is wearing me out. I hope I'm doing something else in 5 years.

Let me be the first to say welcome, and to also say PLEASE redesign the C4 site.  It is awful.  It is one of the worst dealer sites I use, always searching to try and find stuff that should be easy to find.

Product tabs are back at least for the moment! Hurray! I promise to make it worth your while! It is my understanding the issue only applies to Triad only peeps.

Hey Freddy-

Its not just you, it's horrible. I even contacted my rep to alert them that it was bad. I've had clients suggest they cant find any info to research the Triad speakers we're proposing. Hopefully it gets resolved soon.

This is a reply to the question about my name (I have not yet mastered the "quote" and "reply" functions here, obviously). Yes, it really is. I'm originally from Turkey. When my parents named me, they did not plan ahead for the possibility of me one day living in an English-speaking country, but here we are! It's pronounced "Bee-Kay." Thank you for asking.

We are working on this as we speak (type?). I'm very sorry for the issues it's causing for you and clients right now.

Got a customer interested In spending about $6K on a couple speakers and a sub as we speak I used to be able to send them links to good photos and descriptions and then I would get a deposit. Not anymore, now if you so much as google search for Triad speakers it redirects to Control 4 and says “Click here to find a smart home pro.” and then proceeds to solicit Control 4 control products I don’t carry or know how to program. Nice product but already spent years mastering design and programming on other product.

I'm not a C4 dealer so I only have access to the front of the site, not the dealer side.  The front side of the C4 site is using Skrollr for some of it's JS functionality.  It hasn't been supported since 2014.

For those keeping track, it's officially 2020.

Having  Skrollr JS on a new browser version could cause this.  Not saying it is... But could be.
