The mofi router should be good, I think the SIM4 combo unit has a embedded SIM and the SIM4 you can just pop the card in, she can get a data SIM from her provider. We us them in vehicles and boats.

My satellite / antenna friend picked up https://www.gotw3.com (site is annoying btw) which is either AT&T or T-Mobile depending on coverage and density. Speeds on the couple I’ve seen hover at about 40/40. Stand alone they worked pretty good and have no data cap. Cradlepoint looks pretty awesome on the other hand.

The "combo" unit is only indicative of the special paddle antennas included. Thats all combo means.

NETGEAR 4G LTE Modem with Two Gigabit Ethernet Ports
Connected to a Router/switch/wap
It takes an ATT sim card and they have a few different plans
