Just wondering what your current choice would be for broadcasting a PC wirelessly to an TV monitor. This is a light commercial situation, meaning it is primarily the owner that wants to display on a TV wirelessly from his PC, but I suppose there could be an occasional guest as well who wants to display.
Must be able to display all aspects of desktop, so I believe Chromecast would not work.
He doesn't own a mac, so no Airplay
If I understand, Miracast works well but some video formats won't cast and it is PC dependent with little support.
So, I'm down to a basic HDMI wireless transmitter like the Peerless HDSWHDI100.
Thoughts?

I had good luck with the Metra CS-HDMW. (once I figured out that our installers reversed the transmitter and receiver box that is) I don't see a link to it on their site anymore. Looks like it may have been replaced with a version that does 4K and IR. [Link: metrahometheater.com]

Since that's one product that at least three of us misidentified, I have to think something about the product could be done better. "From Source" and "To Display," perhaps?

Damn those Words "HDMI In" and "HDMI Out". These terms can be misconstrued to mean "this goes to the HDMI IN" and "this goes to the HDMI OUT." I suppose this is just another case where you have to keep your brain turned on while working.

Screen Beam 1100 and 960 work great. Not cheap, but they work cross platform. You can really achieve the same thing with an AppleTV and a ScreenBeamMini2. Just have to change inputs.

Mersive. Reliable and easy to use. No apps required, native wireless with Miracast or Airplay,... or you can use the app if you want.

I suppose this is just another case where you have to keep your brain turned on while working. Why is it their fault when installers connect the output jack of a device that comes after the source to that device's output jack? Out goes to In- it's that simple. Yes- keep the brain turned on, but don't overthink the problem. Has anything actually been labeled so it shows the name of the connection on the preceding device? I don't think so.

I suppose this is just another case where you have to keep your brain turned on while working. Over the years we've made loads of service call dollars because of the confusion.
