Got to tour tower 2 at Limerick in PA in grade school- could have easily pulled a water skier in a 20’ vessel. It was gigantic, but I was about 12yo too...

6th grade and this was history for you???? REALLY want to punch you in the face for this fact.

Do you know how many times a day I want to punch him in his face for things he says regarding to his age?  Now he thinks life is over cause he is turning 30.  I am going to drive down there on his birthday and give him a birthday punch to the face.

Just discovered this little documentary.

They took a FLIR device that measures radioactive material and IDs the isotopes.

Loved the first episode, the later ones went a bit off what actually happened to make for a good tv show. Still, the scariest thing I've seen in a while; the scene on the roof with the "Biorobots" is intense beyond belief. I actually got two books on the subject; one on Chernobyl and one on nuclear accidents in general; scary stuff. Still, nuclear is way safer and cleaner than the practical alternatives right now.

I found the first episode disturbing enough that I had to turn it off part way through and watch it again the next day.

As a firefighter I have been in some pretty hairy situations and afterwards realized I was damn lucky to be alive. I just can’t imagine jumping in my pumper and rolling up on.... that.
My wife says I can't do sarcasm. She says I just sound like an a$$hole.
