What a small world! We are in Jupiter and I have my brochures on the front counter at Samm Sound.

Adam, the current owner, seems like a nice guy.

I havent played with the new 5.5's / 6.5's too much- but so far I've found that:

If you hit the receiver with the zone 2 on code, the yellow light starts blinking, and even if you send a Z1 code (i.e. vol+) it will turn Z2 vol. up until the Z2 control clocks out. Dont get me wrong the Z2 codes work fine , it's just that if ya do anythging in z1 right after ya do a Z2 code; it affects z2. I'm yet to check with integra on this I hope it's just something weird I'm doing 'cause i cant imagine Integra set up their Z2 this screwy.

When you hit "Zone 2" on the remote, you have five seconds to enter commands (the flashing light confirms this) that will affect Z2 only. Therefore, issue a Z2 command, then an on command, then a source if you wish. If you want a volume command to be learned, it will be a macro. I usually set zone 2 level and leave it so volume can be controlled with in-wall controller, etc.

It's been this way for awhile. I just learned Z2 volume into a remote last week on a DTR7.4.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

If the original remote has a 'zone 2' button,
include that as the first step of every zone 2
function. If it doesn't, refer back to Impaqt's
response.
