My folks recently purchased Arcam's AVR200 receiver and it came with a CR80 remote control. The volume control does not work via the remote. The manual for the receiver shows a CR340 remote. The store where the purchase was made will not return their phone calls. Does anyone have any insight here? Is it the wrong remote? Can it be programmed to work? If so, how??

Did you ever get a fix for this?
I can't offer a solution; my query is that I live in the UK and the AVR200 only comes with the CR340 remote. I'm told the CR80 is backlit and has a 'learning' facility, but I'd have to pay extra to get one for my AVR200. Is it worth getting one???
