My disty was recommending these. These things are crazy thin. Just thick enough to allow an RJ45 to plug in. However I ave not tested.

Bad link

Is this what you saw? I saw these at my distributor and talked with a AVProConnect factory person. This not re-branding of nameless imports, they control their own design and manufacturing. I haven't yet used any of these products, but they seem very competent.

I'm going to try a Key Digital KD-Pro40G that the distributor recommended through the orange Carlon 1.5" I have in place. If that doesn't work I'll try Ethereal or fibre.

I don't see why you would not contact Brent and do what he says, if you have ANY doubt as to whether stuff will work (unless you are trying to offload it and get your cash back).

He has this irritating thing called integrity and dedication (okay, that's two things) and will work out how to get your situation to work.

If Ethereal costs more, consider how much it costs to try something else. Even if only one out of ten installations of other products causes a problem, who needs to be spending time to fight cabling when satisfying things like "finishing" and "collecting the check" can be done?
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Who can I get Ethereal from in the Toronto area? Or just Canada in general?

While I know that it is available in Canada, I will have to ask where and from who on Monday.

Thank you for asking.

I do have an account with the distributor in Toronto for Ethereal. I would have ordered the devices recommended above but it’s all about timing. It’s Christmas crunch. Been swamped and the job was supposed to have been completed last Friday. I knew I had an order with the other distributor and quickly added in the Key Digital. Will squeeze in installation Monday and if not successful things will have to wait til the New Year.
