Going from an Apple TV to Yamaha Avantage RXA770 through a conduit to an entry level Vivitek 4K Projector. Only want to do this once

Ethereal MHX series with a HDM-GA1 or fiber optic cable (Ethereal or Celerity).

I tried a 100' Celerity fiber cable last night from a 2017 LG OLED panel to an Apple TV 4k.

Regular 1080p was working, but "4k Dolby Vision" or "4k HDR" mode wasn't working using this cable. I haven't updated the Apple TV since I purchased so this may have something to do with the compatibility issues, but will try again tonight after updating.

Ultimately it will have to be redone, even if it's just for the next generation of displays. Be sure your client knows how rapidly things change!

And yes, if the conduit is in place it's crucial to know its diameter! Hopefully you're asking about cable before running conduit.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Try using a separate usb power adapter? I heard that they sometimes don't like the usb on displays or devices.

I installed a MHX-HDME10 (30 meter HDMI) and the HDM-GA1 Gigabit accelerator in July/August 2016. Had to bypass Yamaha Aventage for video, so test first. Full HDR...plug and play. No failures to date. Consult Brent...you won't regret it.

I'm going to try a Key Digital KD-Pro40G that the distributor recommended through the orange Carlon 1.5" I have in place. If that doesn't work I'll try Ethereal or fibre. Today I tried all sorts of HDMI extenders on 40ft Cat6 from a 1080p source to Vivitek projector and couldn't get them to work. That makes me a bit nervous about getting even non HDR 4K through 40ft of HDMI. Don't remember the last time I had such trouble with extenders. Even reterminated Cat6 a few times just to be sure.

Thank You
If the length allows, the GA1 and a Passive cable have proven to be the most reliable solution that we have found.
