So I got my 43" delivered today. I don't get the logic from whomever designed this set. The input cover when opened overlaps the right side vesa holes. So whatever mount you use there is no way to open the door once hung. Actually probably no way to open the door once any hardware is installed on the back. If the door was either reversed so it opened the other way you would have a shot or if they eliminated hinges and put thumb screws on the left side as wel you could pull the cover off.

This was the whole reason for my post

True. But i was ruining your original issue was the horizontal bars preventing the door from opening. Didn't think the vertical would be an issue. The 55" has more space in the drawing then The 43". Never in a million years would I think they would design it with this being in the way.

Don't get me started on the size of the media compartment on the 43". Don't believe this will fit any of their own 4K HDBaseT extenders. Maybe the regular HD ones. Haven't had a chance to test yet.

I'm ordering the sanus tomorrow. Sure hope it fits.

Have enough issues dealing with the Sony 43" and 49" and the bottom mounting holes so low.

Yeah, it was nice. Picture was as good as the Signature Series. There was a little bit of a reflection of the deck rails, but we know its not an anti reflective screen. What is more annoying is that URC did not have an accurate codeset. No volume commands, the HDMI 1 and 2 in the codesets tuned the TV to HDMI 3 and 4.

Looks great Golden. I will be using URC So guess I'll be dealing with the same Issue.

Lucky you used the 55. Below are pics of the 43". I didn't even open the box of the ads is mount there is no way I can see it working and giving access to the media bay. While the Chief thisntall is not an outdoor mount I tried it to see since the 200x200 mounting plate is nice and flat. Can't open the door a full 90 but more then enough to get in. I initially tried the TS325TU but the bottom horizontal part that attaches to the wall is in the way of the power cord/cord grip that comes straight out. So thinking of using the 318SU, which is the single stud or in this case mounted to brick. See any issues with that? Tv is pretty light. tV is not outdoors. It's in a conservatory that also has an endless pool. So using the Veranda more for the humidity levels that could be in the room.

note the last pic and the space avail for extender. I  am connect an ethereal MHY and slip it in the recess area above the extender and have enough to bend the hdmi 90 degrees, as long as the rack-232 port is up against the media connecrion piece. Should be ok for iR emitter as well. Luckily only need access to HDBaseT Ethernet port on the side closet to connections cause anything else is covered.

That is just F'ing insane. Who designed this? If they were not blind, Snap needs to fire them immediately. I am going to email Gpaul since he is so responsive to let him know this is a major design flaw on an otherwise nice product.

Also, assuming the codes are the same on the 43" as the 55", plan on using HDMI 3 and 4 as it will be a lot easier when programming (I just renamed 1 and 2 to 3 and 4.

I posted in the snap forum on IP and no reply like a week ago. Have to go back and see what I wrote. Might have just bitched about the HDBaseT and the fact that they didn't design the media bay to accommodate their own products. Didn't know about the holes being an issue at the time.

I've used the 540 series HDBT which is significantly smaller and was able to fit it in the signature series. Perhaps it will also fit in the 43" Veranda. The 55" can fit a small to medium sized dwarf in the compartment.
