I was at a customers house who has Palliser theater chairs. What I really liked is that they have a wine glass holder which I loved. It got me thinking about how much I loved the old Berkline 094's and their table. Palliser has the same features and has this wine glass holder. My wife would go nuts!

So my big question is does anyone know if you can purchase those accessory ports separately or from any other source? I could see trying to mad scientist that accessory port into the arm of an existing chair/sofa/something to be able to use the accessories.

Thoughts?

Have you guys found any chair manufacturers that aren't squirrely?

Recently a client's interior desecrator found and ordered a half dozen chairs for the theater I put in. I needed some parts and called at least a half dozen times, and was unable to get anyone on the phone.

I finally drove to the company, only to find they operate under three different names, and nobody there knew how to get any parts at all except for the stockboy.

I have a couple more stories, the worst one happening to us when we were 8,000 miles from home, but you get the idea.

Is there someone out there who RELIABLY has this wine glass holder, or other accessories? Yes, it would have to be made to fit the chair, but if we can throw our support behind a company that's a real company, maybe that industry can improve!
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

4 seating has the wine holders. Lots of other stuff too.
I'm Not an engineer, but I play one on TV.
My handle is Tweety but I have nothing to do with the organization of similar name. I just had a really big head as a child so folks called me tweety bird.

...and tweety has named one of the three names of the company I was talking about. The other two names are Seatcraft and Eurotec.

It'd be great if you have contact information of someone instead of some phone extension!

RowOne is the phoenix from the ashes of Berkline....they have retained most of the old Berkline designs including the 094 which is the 8094 in the RowOne line

Nice! Thanks for that! I'll reach out to AVAD to see if they can purchase any model.

John,

Good is relative....they certainly were not the best on the market by any measure....but because of their relatively low cost and ready availability from AVAD they were a staple for many a dealer.

The 094 was the best theater chair I've sat in. I didn't have neck fatigue, it was comfortable, and I liked the option for the tray. Did I say it was the greatest quality or the best out of all other brands???? I only have a few other manufacturers to compare to and what I've sat in/on it was better. I'm sure that Fortress chairs at $5000+ per chair are better but I'm not buying those and I haven't had a customer want to. We've only sold a half a dozen Berkline setups, two Snap, and one Salamander.

I liked berkline. I have a huge Berkline L shaped black leather sectional with recliner, chaise and a pull out queen bed. Had it about 10 years. Love it. Had theater chairs of same style that matched. Had being the key word. Some pos ex gf has those now. But that's a whole other story. Lol

Those Berkline chairs I sold many years ago, are still in great shape and working order.

Cost was WAY less than others, and I and my clients just didn't see a reason to pay 4 to 5 times as much for a recliner with similar features.
