No big deal, the earth did indeed keep spinning.

That doesn't stop until this Friday.

We are currently investigating and working through a number of residual effects of the system outage. We'll keep everyone posted on the status on the OvrC status page here: https://status.ovrc.com

Thanks everyone for your patience.

When the "lights" go out in a storm, people complain.

When the "lights" come back on,you never hear a thing!
Every day is a good day.......some are just better than others!

Proud to say that my property is protected by a high speed wireless device!

That's why I like the VPN setup on the routers.
Get in, albeit slower, do what I got to do, and move on to next problem.

I about had a heart attack when the notifications started blowing my phone up.

The first couple were in a pretty close area to one another and my first thought was an internet outage. Then I started getting them from areas that have a different ISP and I was getting that feeling of dread that my phone was going to start ringing off the hook with calls from angry clients.
I am a trained professional..... Do not attempt this stunt at home.

I'm not sure what the worry is/was. When all sites go offline, I assumed OVRC was down, which I also assumed only affected the remote access. Has there been an outage in the past where the devices actually went offline, and not just remote access?

More devices show "online" this morning, but nothing is reachable.
I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

Exactly Golden, when you see tons go offline its a clear indication its a server issue somewhere and doesnt affect performance.

Please be assured that this incident only impacts OvrC and its communication to the devices. The local functionality of the devices have not been impacted. Thus, your clients will have not seen any difference in service.

As an update, we have stabilized everything at this point. We are currently monitoring the residual impacts of the incident and working to clear out the queue that has been built up.

Thank you again for your patience.

Do these OvrC devices have a plug attached to them?
