I know that "profiling" is no longer politically correct, but stopping a person crawling out of a back alley window carrying a TV with a cut power cord, is not "profiling" as far as I am concerned.

As a long time member of various boards and an administrator, I'll agree with Dean Roddey -- this is a spammer. Typically, the spammer will post vaguely worded, inappropriate text for a few posts in an effort to end run the forum's "nanny" (preventing image posting and links for new members). After the nanny backs off, the spammer will change the signature, and/or edit all of the older posts in order to inject the message. Some spammers will register and remain dormant for a year or more. Often, the originating IP address is a big clue and the administrator can avoid a lot of grief by blocking certain IP addresses.

If you click on his profile, you see the reference to this company. So even if he is banned now, his profile will continue to promote that site.

One thing that hurts them is that there seems to be pretty good scientific proof at this point that being a spammer and having any sort of grasp on grammar are sort of mutually exclusive.

Mr.Stanley is just trying to pick a fight because he doesn't like me. My obvious and now proven spotting of a typical forum spammer was his way to try and make me out to be "both a little stereotypical, bigotted, and borderline racist".

The reality is that it is Mr.Stanley's bigotry/racism that allowed him to jump to the conclusion that my comment had anything to do with the posters ethnicity/race/religion/sexual orientation/favorite shoe brand etc.
