Okay Everyone!
This cable madness is driving nuts! There must be 50 million cable manufactures out there. They all claim to have the best cables. So I will ask some of you custom installers what your installing.
I don't want to break the bank on cables. However, I do want something good. I am considering several manufactures based on custom installer's recommendations. Here's the list I have compiled so far.
Impact Acoustics Cable Kimber Kable Transparent AV Cable Phoenix Gold Blue Jeans Monster Cable
What do you guys use and what are your recommendations?
I am overwhelmed with choices and all the hype and claims of a better cable.
Thanks in advance.
Mitch

In the past I have used monser, kimber, ixos, and now we use ultralink. No complants on any of the wire.

We use IXOS now, but we have used phoenix gold and a few others over the years. Ixos has been great for us. As far as monster goes i just could never get into the whole monster thing. But they do make furniture now!

I won't sell any Monster stuff now. They do have nice packaging though. The line fits perfectly when placed next to a Bose unit. I here they are Timshow's and Wesley Permiere items

We use Liberty cables, www.libertycable.com Good quality and variety. For value priced interconnects, we use NXG that we get from DBL Distributing, www.dbldistributing.com.

We used to use Proflex but ran into many problems with their s-vid cables. I switched to Tributaries, they've got a good selection and i've been happy with them. http://www.tributariescable.com/

I used to use Proflex as well, but dropped them because of quality control issues. I use Tributaries cable now as well. Great stuff, good prices and great people to work with. It also doesn't hurt that their HQ are about 10 minutes from my office :)
I have access to most of the others, and they're all pretty good. I tend to stay away from Monster simply because it is mass-marketed now. Not to say it's bad cable, but I don't want to be locked into a retail price for cable. I recommend cables to my customers, and have little objection, so I figure why bother recommending a cable they've probably heard of and will want to price shop?
Just my $.02 worth of input...

Tributaries are the best I've used. Real happy with them.
We will also use Monster. But not the low end of the monster line. Have any of you guys noticed that when you use the cheaper Monster cables (component, composite) that sometimes the fit is too tight or too loose? I seem to run into this alot.
"gee why don't I have picture on the DVD? How'd ALL of the cables come off of the back of the DVD? That's too loose.

We used to use Proflex but ran into many problems with their s-vid cables. With the cables continuing to fall out of the sockets by chance? I've been through Monster training and it reminded me of being forced to sit through a three hour infomercial without the benefit of having a remote control to change the channel.

Proflex cables are my choice, great performance, look and value ! .... and they keeping fall out of sockets . First you have to press jack around and then you can use it !?!?!? They should change name to PROBLEMX . Monster has nice and expensive products . I use RG59 cable in cooper + Monster jacks . No problem with quality of picture and I can make cable as long as I need (feed for plasma , audio..)

With the cables continuing to fall out of the sockets by chance? You have no idea how many service calls this caused. It seemed like these things magically slid out as soon as you walked away from the the tv. Never had the problem after i switched.

Liberty Wire & Cable for me.....
Only time I ever had problems with the cabling was the one year when I tried using Monster cable products....
Lets see, LESS profits margins, and more problems....That's a Monster deal?
