I understand there are heterosexual doctors that could do it as well, but that doesn't change that fact that ANY homosexual doctor that helps to create, deliver and care for children...IS in fact contributing evolution.

Obviously not in the sense with their specific genetic code.

SO, how is this ANY different or more NATURAL than a Lesbian couple doing the same thing?

My problem with the bible is that it was written by humans. Humans have proven again and again that they like power and control.

We can prove in 5 minutes that telling a story to one person and passing it on one by one will change DRAMATICALLY after just a few passing.

The fact that all this 'magical' holy stuff happened at a time when people thought the world was flat and couldn't explain any number of things about the world they lived in AND HAS NEVER HAPPENED SINCE is just about proof enough that this was all ways to control people.

Also, why didn't god teach the Asian cultures about him? Seriously half the world has totally different beliefs and God just okay with that?

According to the bible he's proven himself many times (flood the world, part the seas, resurrect jesus, etc), why not just do it again I mean its been a couple thousand years. Why so much activity and then nothing?

I'm fine with accepting that maybe there is a God, I can't prove there isn't....but the bible? Come on? seriously?

Maybe someday you might realize your goal is to deny someone some actual rights of equality. Nobody is forcing you to do anything. But that is what religion is really all about, controlling people...

Cory, I think you answered your own question. There have been several events in the last 1500 years that, in older, more ignorant times, would be mistaken for societal/religious epiphanies...(Jim Jones, Scientology, the list goes on and on) but now that we as a society, are a little more seasoned, and documentation is actually written down (not handed down verbally over generations) and science can refute all of it, it never gets beyond cult status.

Off hand, there have been 2 major cult awakenings that have gathered steam since BCE, and both are a society virus, just like the others (LDS & Islam).
