Does anybody here have experience with wireless headphones in a dental office? The application is 7 chairs, each with dedicated TVs. The units they are using now are Bluetooth and have a tendency to interrupt each other where one set of headphones will start listening to another transmitter. Supposedly they were only ever made to have a maximum of 2-3 transmitters in close proximity, which seems to be true for most Bluetooth headphones.
I contacted Sennheiser and was informed that their headphones are limited to 3 transmitters in close proximity. You can use 2 different model numbers for a maximum of 6, but the RS170 models they are recommending are pretty spendy and not a great match for the application (it's actually a kid's dental office so most Sennheisers are too big, particularly the RS170).
His other offices use wired headphones which work fine but he did not wire this office for them because he was confident the technology has matured enough. As a last resort, the office could be wired but he is very hesitant because wired has it's own set of issues plus it would be very labor intensive the way the chairs are located in the middle of the floor.
Anybody with experience along these lines or other solutions?

I use JVC because they are more affordable. There is only one transmitter for the entire office, so everybody watches the same TV channel, or finding Nemo at the same time.
I don't know if there is any way, for at least a cost-effective way to implement seven wireless channels.

Unless the operatory chairs are close together, as they often are.

IR could possibly work but the TV's are above the chairs, ceiling mount style but hanging down below the drop-ceiling. So the transmitter needs to be positioned in such a way that it doesn't look dumb and yet can still cover the chair below. The other problem is it seems like many headphones, including RF, have the charging capabilities built in to the transmitter. Which would be behind the TV.
The ones they have now actually have a separate charger. I suppose another option would be if the headphones just took batteries instead of charging.
