So now we have:

New members, Active members, Senior members, Founding members, Regular members, Junior members, third members?

How does all of this compute, the only thing that seems to make sense is that, new members are in fact new and Senior members have the most posts? Active members, Founding members, Regular members and Junior members, do not seem to relate to their date of arrival or the number of posts they have made

Can someone extrapolate a little more on this new pecking order?

If our opinions matter, I'm not so sure dividing us up into categories is such a good idea. Before, if someone's credibility came into question, we could always click their profile. Otherwise, we all played on a level field. I'm pleased to be called a "founding member", but that doesn't make me any better than the new guys.

But then again, it's not my site, and therefore not my call.

You could have had it as:
True Professionals
Advanced Automators
Mainstream installers
Trunkslammers
And Sideshow Hackers
Wannabees

It would have allowed the catagories to be 'more descript'.It also would have allowed for alot of great threads

Hey OEX you have more posts than DEB1919 and he is a "founding member". It looks like it has nothing to do with the amount of posts.

Well, this new format definitely requires some getting used to. A couple of suggestions, Dan, if I may:

How about a 'jump-to-first-new-post' button, and a signature section, so we don't have to sign each post?

Larry,

There is a spot, in your account profile, to add a signature now!

Yay!

Hey, that means that all of my prior posts will now display double signatures, doesn't it? Oh, well.

"Where are you seeing "Third" members?"

I know where mine is, has been and will be.
I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

I think our status may just be determined by the level of intellect used in our prior few posts.

Oh common, you know I’m just kidding Daniel, but really you’re the big cheese here, or I guess it would be proper to say the first member? So lay this whole system out for us
