Then there's bluetooth, which has erased our ability on the street to distinguish between the psychopath talking to himself and just somebody on the phone. And, incidentally, if your phone is in your pocket, bluetooth has also done away with caller ID!

Psychopaths rarely talk to themselves unless you count referring to themselves in the 3rd person like if Crazy Jimmy says "Crazy Jimmy want's a cheese pizza" to the guy at the pizza place.

Schizophrenia is the usual suspect for 1-person out-loud conversations on the street.

LOL, You are out of the loop then!

Julie wrote an article at CEPro, that has many CI's undies all in a bunch.

I find it interesting that at the moment I'm getting a 404 error on the article, but alas in this day and age, it is harder than that to erase your misdeed, as google has cached the page! :)

Here is the thread at RC about the article...

In addition we've had some of the normal political threads get shut down (With most of the shutdown thread offenders that are normally involved.), as well as a CI who decided that many of the others should be called names, and that got shut down as well.

Just look for the little locked threads, and you'll be all caught up.

The thread was about a recent CE Pro article, that I responded to.

My handle is Tweety but I have nothing to do with the organization of similar name. I just had a really big head as a child so folks called me tweety bird.

If we all chime in and start whining like all CI's do, we might just be able to catch up to the "what did you do today" thread.
Bill's Electric & Home Theater & Plumbing & Automation & Small Engine Repair, and Animal Removal Services......did I mention we do remotes also?

Ed made me sick to my stomach.

I went to the Red Wing store today and they said I need arch supports.

Got a call for a small service call.
Talked to the guy and even scheduled an appointment few days from today.
Later that day I got an email that someone else already showed up and took care of the issue.
I'm pissed because I'm sure it was one of you bastards that do the side jobs. :-)

Joking aside, I did waste 10 minutes of my time that I think Obama should compensate me for.

This is a good call. After all Obama says that that job you have, that company you run, you didn't do that. You didn't answer the phone and talk to that jerk, either. Obama must have lost that money for you.

Really, though, I've got to ask: you mean you're good at what you do, yet when I have a small service call that I need handled right now, you really can't just come right over? You actually have work scheduled? How can you possibly be good but not be sitting at home waiting for me to call?
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Anyone worth a darn could do the service call AND work on another job at the same time. It's all about using time dimensions. Or, Firesign Theater. "How can you be in two places at once, when you're not anywhere at all?".
My mechanic told me, "I couldn't repair your brakes, so I made your horn louder."
