When I got married we spent a ton of coin on a simmons beautyrest pillow top mattress. That thing was the biggest spice of crap. After about 5 years it was completely worn out and it looked like a w if you were looking at it eye level from the foot of the bed. We had to get a new one which was a Sealy. The best mattress in my house is one I picked up for our guest bedroom at SAMs club for 399. Maybe I like the guest bedroom because I don't have a wife and kids in bed with me! I just really don't know.

We have had a Comfortaire King with Best Futon Mattresses check this source for several years (at least 10).

One of the cells developed a leak after a couple years, and the company sent out 2 new cells (they had a newer design) no charge. Never had another problem.

We also use a heated mattress pad in the winter months.

Online pricing is around $2,700.00 for one equivalent to what we have.

Wife loves it. Me, I could sleep on the floor... :-)

We also love a similar type of mattresses! That's just the duration of use we have not been so long!

Yes, Samonaro. So long, indeed.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I got me a 2 zone air mattress few years back. I love it.
I sleep at a setting of 8 (out of 50), wife likes it at 43 and up.

I also got ChiliPad. That thing has changed my life for the better. No longer am I freezing when wife keeps the room at 60° in the summer or 40s in the winter.

You of all people sleepy on a mattress? With all that stuff you wear for falling down the mountainside, can't you just lay down most anywhere?

We bought a Nest Bedding mattress (alexander I believe) 2 years ago. Its foam but the the top layer is a different type of foam so doesn't sleep hot.

I wear a helmet and padding for my tail bone in both my winter and summer activities. Neither of which I consider suitable for sleeping.

Sleep number has been great for us. It’s really nice when you can change the firmness of the mattress depending on how your back feels - and the wife can have set her own firmness.
