Cool, I'll see if Avad has them in Canada next time I need one. Thanks for posting.

Yes sir, I understand you only paid $1000 for the TV, but the rack to hold your equipment is going to be $1500.

Wow, that's your analogy!

How much are you going to sell him the speakers for?

What A/V receiver are you going to use? (I'm assuming A/V receiver because separates cost more)

Is power protection too much?

Harmony for control?

What are your plans to cool all of that cheap gear?

It's Middle Atlantic and Strong for me.
I have no desire to look anywhere else. Both of these companies have been very good to me and both truly care about the product and my opinion.

Sanus and Omni have long been the customer supplied product that shows up on hang and bangs lacking anything close to quality.

What can I say, I'd rather put one of those in then no rack at all.  It's a decent rack that looks decent.  We only use the 18u version, and it saves alot of time on site.  I don't have to pay guys to assemble racks.

Then I can spend more money on speakers, remotes, etc.  Personally, I'd rather give a client a beefier receiver and speakers than a better rack. We typically install the rack in the basement furnace room.  I'm not working with clients that have unlimited budgets.

So yes, that's my analogy.

I don't use Middle Atlantic because I met a rep years ago, he said he'd call, never did.  I called back a month or so later, they said they'd get a rep to return my call. I've never heard from them.  I assume they don't need or want my business.

I also use Snap racks. They're no better quality than the Omni.  I use them both.

And I'm sorry for hurting you so badly. :)
