I know I have literature for a TV/Mirror for the bathroom but I haven't been able to find anything on it today. I can't even remember who made the darn thing. Somebody feed me some info please.

Mission (Audio?), was the company displaying at last years CEDIA. If it is the one you are thinking of. This unit looked like the old style, in wall medicine cabinet. It had a 5"(?) lcd behind the lower half of the mirror and a flat panel speaker built-in above the mirror. Pretty cool piece.

It wasn't either one of those but I'll look into both. It was a name I had never seen before & it was bigger than the mission piece. I think it was a 12" LCD. I might have thrown the damn thing out when I moved my office to a new location at the end of last year. I hate that.

We normally just build our own, so to speak. What are you trying to do? Maybe I can give you some ideas.

aqauvision is the one I was thinking of but it doesn't appear to be a mirror. I also can't find any web sites that have it outside of the UK. avgenious, can you give me a basic rundown of what I will need to do to roll my own if it comes to that? I'm assuming one way mirror over the LCD of your choice.

Recently used a Sharp LC-13E1UB in a behind the two way mirror install.

Installed a purlin between studs, above and below the area where the TV would be placed, with electrical box cutout, and cable jack box cutout in the lower purlin.

Sheetrocker taped around the raw edges of the rock when it was installed. Painter put a coat of flat black in the recess area, and I made my own mount for the LCD from some flat 1/8' metal stock.

Last thing was to hang the two way mirror in a conventional manner.

P.S. Make sure that you leave plenty of room for the rather lengthy cord and transformer that comes with these sets.

Hate to sound, well you know, I hate to sound like, well...WHAT IS PURLIN? Is that the place that had the wall in the middle of the city?
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

A horizontal cross bracing that is commonly seen in stud walls that are over 8' in height (required in some areas by code). Sometimes called a fireblock.

Actually, I never heard the term either.

Is that a variation of "flitch plate?"
