this beer tastes like pumpkin pie, lots of spice to it.

That sounds awful.

As my Dad says, hogs won't even eat pumpkin. No way the good lord ever meant for man to eat it.

Putting it in good alcohol should be a down right crime

Pumpkin beer is good. It is the allspice that gets overused.

My wife found a recipe for a drink called "The Grinch" since we had the stuff we mixed a couple up. Not too bad

This green cocktail called the Grinch has none of the nasty elements of Dr. Seuss's classic holiday character. On the contrary, it's reminiscent of the changed Grinch with the sweetest flavors; melon-flavored Midori and lemon juice. It's all sweetened even further with a little simple syrup. Add a maraschino cherry for the garnish for color and to represent the changed heart of the green man.

Prep Time: 3 minutes

Total Time: 3 minutes

Yield: 1 Cocktail

Ingredients:
•2 oz Midori melon liqueur
•1/2 oz lemon juice
•1 tsp simple syrup
•Maraschino cherry for garnish

Preparation:

1.Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice.
2.Shake well.
3.Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
4.Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.

I'm drinking Elijah's 12 tonight. The ABC store had it on sale for $20 and considering the recommendations, I figured I should try it.

The angels envy beats it hands down in my opinion. But it's good. The AE is smoother. The Elijah Craig is more comparable to Knob Creek
