Hi goldenzrule,

Yes, you can learn the commands into a device you create, export them and reuse them as needed. We also have several devices in our online database that can be accessed via Project Editor.

Lance,

Thanks for the info. That is great news. So I can build a library of codes I typically use. I see a lot of the codes are in there, but not discreet power codes (at least not for most of the equipment I use). Hopefully this weekend I will finally have some more time to go through more of the training videos.

Im new to bitwise and im not having any issues programming except our integration with Just Add Power. We are using the Dell 6248 managed switch and im looking for command strings to work with that switch via rs232. Has anyone used this before that may have this info?

Just started playing with this stuff the other day. Looks pretty promising. The software seems to be making steady progress, Noels templates look great. The website could use some serious work though IMO. It took me quite a while to figure out where stuff was and the Faq seems pretty lacking.

I hope there are plans for adding Android apps in the future.

Android integration is in the works. My fingers are crossed on this, as well. My real hope is with two way support, Android integration and the possibility of running the GUI through a Linux box, we could have the makings of another real player in the whole home space. It doesn't hurt that the company has shown incredible support (both technically and in terms of protecting us as dealers).

Just wondering if anyone has integrated a ipod with 2 way communication utilizing the Bitwise software/hardware? If yes, what components did you use? Sorry, been busy getting a feel for the software that I haven't researched this yet.

Aldous systems has an iPOD solution that uses a BC4 to control and handle meta data. Speak to Jason - aldoussystems.co.uk

Bitwise is a great product. We have designed a full Speakercraft MZC interface using a BC4 and are very impressed with the results. ().
Using the BC4 as a universal remote is also a breeze with the project editor features. Drivers for Rako,Intelix and Apart audio have also been written and proven to be reliable.
