Has anyone done any trick set ups with the Ct-610. I am going to start programming a project with 3 CT-610s and 14 CK1.2 Keypads. The 610s will be in an hub with a Sony Cd changer, Sony DVD player, and several Dish 301's . I have the keypad part of it figured out. Running the DVD, CD player, and the sat boxes seems to be pretty straight forward.

What I am not quite sure of is whether I can control the B&K and the DVD changer via an infrared receiver located at the display using a TSU 6000, or will I have to make it a two step operation. Point the pronto at the Display to make the local adjustments and using the keypad to operate the DVD signal.

There are 3 different locations with a Plasma, a 5 disc changer, Sat box, and a Denon receiver. Hopefully I will be able to just point the remote at the display and it will be able to access the DVD changer.

This is one of those jobs that we inherited from another company, so I was not in on the planning. I have Cat 5 from the audio hub to each keypad and the local receiver back to the display in 3 different locations. I also have just enough line level cable to send the DVD signal from the B&K to the local receiver. I am trying to figure out the most straight forward way to get this to operate.

If anybody has any insite or suggestions, they would be most appreciated.

I've run a few with AMX control systems... The RS232 is quite robust

The 6000 can easisly operate local components and the CT610 system. The Keypads have IR receivers built in or you can add standard Xantech style IR receiver near the Tv's.

Should Not be a problem

Cool, thanks for the info. By the time I got into the project and called B&K I think all their knowledgeable people were in Vegas at CES. The guy I spoke with was good at long pauses though. I was little worried until remebered the Vegas thing.
