OK, It's up, and you've tightened the screws, but alas it still finds a way to tilt a little one way or the other before too long. This happens all too easy with ball and socket type mounts... We've used a couple iffy methods... What to Dooooo!!

Well yesterday it was a Screenplay 7200 on a peerless mount, it looks great, but somthing with fine tune adjustment screws insread of a jumbo ball and socket would be ideal... More jobs coming up and want to avoid this issue.

Jay,

use the universal RPA mount from chief...click here:

[Link: chiefmfg.com]

You can bolt it straight to the ceiling, or pipe mount it....it's really very nice.

Once fine tuned (notice there are a BUNCH of fine tune points on it) it won't move!

I second the chief RPA mount. We use them almost exclusivly and never have a problem with the projector moving.

We use Premier Mounts from Progressive Marketing here in Southern California, and they are great. Only trouble I ever had with one was a plasma mount that needed to be really shallow and it came in something like 4.7" deep while the drawing and the factory insisted that it was 4.3" deep.

I also second the Chief mounts, though.

The ball and sockets, although cool and patented, I leave for speakers where a tiny bit of drift will not require a service call.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
