Ummm... What transponders are you looking at??? I highly doubt you have 99-100 signal strength on all the 101 transponders... if you do, something is incredibly wrong with your signal meter.....

Three thoughts for you....

1) Your voltage switch is bad (if you're not using the triple lnb with the internal switch, if you are, then this wouldn't be the problem, as you've already tried different LNB)

2) The wire is bad, or you have some remnants of the shield touching the center conductor....I would suspect this last...

3) The most likely...the Receiver is bad...based on several posts here recently and some other industry news and notes, this may be the culprit...I would further suspect this of the signal level you're mentioning above is being observed using the receivers on board signal strength meter.

Have you tried using a DigiSat, or some sort of external signal meter independantly of the satellite receiver? This may be the quickest way to determine where the problem is.

Also, take a multi-meter and check the voltage output off the back of the receiver, it should fluctuate between 13-18 volts, as it looks for signal.

When you set the skew on the HD dish you need a much larger line of sight. 119 stays real low compared to 101. Are you sure you have a line of sight? You have to make surre there are NO trees in the vicinity. Example. if you have a tree that is 80' tall and you are 70-80 ' away you are going to have problems. Secondly, make sure that skew is dead on the money if its not your screwed.

I just read your other threads concerning the same receiver. The first time you had just the HD signal you had the azimuth to far one way or the other. Usually when you do this when you turn to channel 100 it will say welcome to DirecTBV's newest satellite. But it can't give you picture. From the info. that you have given in your threads one of two things is happening. You just are not hitting the signal properly. Or you are stuck in a tree and can't hit all 3 at the same time. I am leaning toward the second option. It is VERY doubtful that it is the equipment. Just get as far away from the tree as you can.
