It's probably not an issue of possibility, but of ROI. If there were thousands of places where these would be used, someone would do it. Bluetooth fits that model -- there are thousands of places to use it. There could be hundreds of devices that work on different frequencies, and as long as enough units of any one type can be sold, it will fly.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
