Hi Matt, I, along with others, appreciate the fact that you take the time to be here on these forums to answer our questions on Denon.

I'm with Vincent regarding re syncing, I'd prefer that it didn't happen, once the Receiver is on an input I don't see the need for it to re sync. Unless there is a problem, then it's easy enough to change to another input and then go back (which shouldn't normally happen).
Just my .02!

Iain

On the sync topic, I should see new product in about 2/3 weeks. I will attempt to post as soon as possible. Stay tuned.

As any of the integrators that contact me will tell you I try to go above and beyond, even on my own personal time to help. Just like offering assistance here and on IP.

Matt Good is absolutely the best A/V resource I have at my disposal. Matt has never once failed me.

Hey Matt, how about that 3hr trouble shooting phone call about the HDMI issue... I can not express my thanks enough for your expert assistance.
-------------

A couple things I would like to see added to Denon CI receivers:
I would like to be able to assign all RCA outputs- specificly additional subwoofer pre-outs as needed (7.2, 7.3, etc...).

It would be fastastic if I could select the filters and crossovers for each assigned output.
I wish all Denon receivers could have menu locks. This is such an overlooked feature.

I have never had an issue with a Denon CI receiver that was not caused by user errors.

Umm.. your welcome. and where's my check? joke!

Let me get back to you on that ;)

Elaborate, please. PM of you would like. I can always make the suggestion to the engineers.

I wish all Denon receivers could have menu locks. This is such an overlooked feature.

There is a Setup Lock, it's found in Manual Setup on some AVRs and Option Setup on others in our line. Now, there isn't a code, but there is a lock.

I have never had an issue with a Denon CI receiver that was not caused by user errors.

According to info received from my DENON distributor, the AVR 1910 and the AVR 4310CI will be available in May.

Not just trying to jump on the band wagon here, but I feel it is important. If more Manf. had people like Matt working for them, who are always willing to go that extra mile, Or can give you comprehensive tech support because they have the piece of equiptment installed at their house and know it inside and out, our jobs would be alot easier.
Denon, although not without its glitches(every manufactuer has them) is one of the most rock solid lines we carry. So if your shopping for a new line, take a good look at them. They really are interested in promoting the CI's. Plus if you go through the CI training, youll get Matts cell number, and the fool always answers it!!
Thanks Matt, New stuff looks good!!

I will jump in and say, Kudos do Denon, Matt, and Jeff... They are working above and beyond in my opinion! I have been a Dealer since 1986. We have seen some good product and some bad. Other lines have come and gone but Denon has always been in the mix.

The Ci Web is a great resource for Ci dealers, and the firmware updates and upgrades are the greatest thing since sliced bread!

Matt recently was able to provide an upgrade authorization while I was on site... under 20 minutes from my initial request ! How awesome is that ?! I made the upgrade without the second truck roll ! Gotta love it... thanks Al Gore for creating the Web!

Thank You Matt ! I'm sorry the AVS forum chased away Jeff.

John,

We should setup Remote Access on the AVR so you don't need to roll a truck to the customer for little T-Shoots/setup things.

More news on the receivers yet? I will buy me my first Denon receiver and i can't hold it any longer. Come on with that press release ... :)

Can you give some information on the height of the 4310CI. The height is limited in my case and i think some cooling space above the receiver is necessary.

I was told by Magnolia HI-FI that the only way to view pictures and home movies from my computer on my Panasonic PF 11UK Plasma TV using a Denon 3808ci was to get a Video Extender like a X-box 360. I thought I could run an HDMI cable from my computer to receiver to accomplish this? Will the Dennon 4310 be any different?

The problem lies within your computers Vcard.

Get an Nvidia 295, and your problems are gone.

Matt,

Make sure to print off this thread, with all the props you've been getting before you go into your next performance review meeting. ;-)

There are rumours that Denon will be holding a press conference in NYC to announce their new models on May 11.

@Matt: did you find some time to add new specs information or do you have to wait until May 11. It's now midnight in Holland but i cannot go to sleep without the specs :)
