So whats the scoop Peggy? Did you find him?

I think I saw him on TV at a Tea-Bagging party.

Don't be too quick to judge Brent. As you ALL KNOW, there are two sides to every story. How would you like it if you were judged based on comments from one unhappy customer?

I hope Brent's OK and that this thing gets settled amicably.

Actually, in most cases, there are usually three sides to the story. In this case, it would be Peggy's side, Brent's side and the truth. ;)

You beat me too it!

And I agree with Julie, no judgments until proven guilty.

Not to offend, but Brent, you should have quoted her Crestron. You could have added another zero to that number!

In a coma but still able to log in to forum sites??

Three sides to every story, always. But when you drop off in the middle of a big project, without delivering product, things dont look too good for your side of the story. Man up and work out what you can, hiding and making people hunt for you only does three things: Makes your problems worse when people catch up with you, Gets the rumor mill going and that never goes well, Makes it harder for those of us in this industry to be able to do our jobs. Once a customer is burned(if that is what happened in this case) or even a potential customer hears storys or reads things like this, it makes it harder to trust someone when they are looking to start a project.
Its just frustrating, because I do remember when a persons word was good enough in business.(I just barely remember, Im old but not that old.)
Quality over quanity, that's how I make my mistakes....

a quick word of advice... there are very good instllation companies in Houston, and there are very BAD installation comapines in Houston...
a good one is Media Design if you're into the large company thing...
a very BAD one is Texas Sound and Light

(taking a risk naming names? Nah.. what's that little bastard gonna do.. sue me? Bring it on!)

Gentlemen, (and Julie), (and PeggyLiu),

My name is Bill Maxey, and I own a firm in Houston called Media Design.  I am not associated with Brent Huskins (nor do I believe I have had the pleasure of meeting him).

My firm has been established since 1986, and I confess I have been a fan (and lurker) of this forum for the past 7 or 8 years.  From time to time I see my company name pop up (such as the post above), and felt I needed to establish myself.  My website is www.mediadesigninc.com

Promise to write again soon!

Bill
