the isky has a dealer demo kit. It's a pizza box sized
panel and power supply with the uray lighting. I think
it's around $100 or so. I have a demo kit on loaner,
and i'll probably buy the kit. Pretty cool product.
Hi Guys! John Caldwell from StJohn Group here.
FYI -- Our iSky Panel, model 1200 "Pizza Box" demonstration piece is $85.
It is 12 x 12" sample panel literally in a pizza box, that reflects the build quality and star density of our 24x 24 and 48 x 48" pre-fab panels. It shows off the optional uRay LED lighting system we offer as well. The uRay for Pizza box is blue (our most popular), but we also offer cool white, red and amber. The Pizza box has an onboard 9 volt battery supply for use in the field with a client, designer, builder etc. Also can be switched to the one amp wall wart transformer for brighter operation.
We offer 24 x 24 x 2" thick, drop-in/grid ceiling panels in standard white and black fabrics. With and without stars. We also make 24x24", 30x30" and 48x 48", standard sized panels for cloud and surface mount applications. With and without star versions. Just introduced this week are radiused and triangle panels with stars for creating a wider variety of ceiling shapes. Standard fabric finish is midnight blue Anchorage AT fabric. Onyx black is also available. We've also just introduce cost effective dimming of the uRay LED lighting strips.
Custom bespoke panels and projects are never a problem.
The stars in our panels don't twinkle via a spinning wheel in front of an illuminator's bulb. Rather they glimmer like real stars do, at completely random intervals and amplitude. This is done via a propriatary and patented, minature low voltage LED light engine embedded in each panel that drives short runs of fiber with each panel. The panels daisy chain via quick connectors, and up to 50 panels can be driven off of a 3 amp wall wart via 18 ga. wire. The stars never fade or turn yellow and the LED star engines will last for decades. The panels are easily cut in field via an optional installation kit, for things like down lights, smoke alarms, heating vents or sprinkler heads.
Please contact me off-line to learn more about our considerable features and advantages to tradtional old-school, star field ceilings.
We own the night.
