Dumb question for any Panasonic KXTA guru's out there.
Got a client that put their system into Night Mode accidentally. It is a Cancer Center and they cannot get any incoming calls (Night Mode is set to not ring). This is my first time using the latest version of the KXT and I can't find how to switch from Night mode to Day mode in any of the manuals.
The site is 2.5 hours away and I am scheduled to go there tomorrow, but if there was anyone who knew how to talk someone over the phone into putting the system back in Day mode I would be eternally greatful.

Capitol Sales Tech support is very good, but where was the system purchased?
Otherwise call Panasonic, or hope someone here knows.

Was purchased at A*ad. The regional manager told me they no longer have a Panasonic Phone guy. Panasonic themselves won't talk to you unless you have taken their training...
I've since discovered that you need to program a DSS button to toggle lunch and/or night mode, but was hoping there was something I could do over the phone for them. Not really sure how they managed to get it into night mode in the first place.

Thanks for the kind words, Brandenpro.
intercom 781# from the managers phone will take you back to day mode.
Go back to the center and reset all to the same settings, unless you can justify day and night settings.
Might want to look at who you buy your phone systems from.

One final note: Panasonic tech support in New Jersey does have a non digitally certifed tech support line. It is a toll call. There are occasionally lengthy waits.
It sounds like you tried to get through the kxtda line, which requires a certification number to converse.
Other suppliers have toll free tech support for systems purchased through them, and teach classes on the topic at ehx and cedia. But they don't have women in tight shirts and short skirts.

Yeah, Fred in a tight shirt and short skirt does nothing for most of us.... But then again, there may be Fred.. Nah, I've seen you. There's no chance.....lol

If that is a pabx with a USB socket (and I am fairly certain it is) you can do it with your laptop. It is far easier to program with your PC than with the main 'phone. I take it you have the CD or software?

Yes, I do, just wanted something I could tell them to do over the phone. I can fix it tommorow when I get there, but as it is a Cancer Center, and phones are important, I was trying to help them. In any case, I managed to walk one of them through the process of getting one extension to ring on the first CO in night mode - so they have one line ringing at one place, but its enough till tomorrow.
Re: Panasonic non certified tech support - I actually called that number, but hung up when i realized that the web site i got the number off of was requiring installer codes that i didn't have. Good to know I can call that number if I have questions, thanks!
