Checking with the various authorities about buying a car in BC, or WA, and driving it back home.
Good news for my plan.
In BC, if the car is 91 or older, it's a $125.00 fee at the border, and abut $300.00 fr tags and a 3 month insurance policy.
In WA, any year is good, I can travel on existing tags, and my insurance.
Now, if only a car that I would want is for sale September 1st.

Now you get some piddling salary, pay a little less in taxes, and get a bonus at the end of the year. It WILL be a shock. I watched our security guy and his tech get in a fight today. They were in each other's face screaming, arms drawn back daring each other to swing. Unfortunately neither of them would throw the first punch.

Great. There was another shooting behind my wife's school. There was another one last month. There is a housing project behind the school. Now the kids can't go outside for recess which is a pita this time of year. Of course I am worried about her everytime she goes to work too. :-(
