We have a restroom out in our shop area. We let our customers use it, and on occasion, a random person will ask to use it.

On the way to the restroom is a refrigerator, that we stock with waters, and beers.

Day before yesterday, we stocked up on 6 really nice craft-beers... We usually pound a beer or two around closing time, lets us vent about the day, and have a few laughs etc..

Yesterday this woman (about 60 or so), came in, and asked if she could use the restroom... I said, uh sure. (We usually only let customers use it, but I figured she must really need to use it).

She goes out into our shop area and goes to the rest room.

I get stuck on the telephone, and she seemed to be in the restroom for a while.

Out of the corner of my eye, she left, carrying her fairly large purse, walking quickly. SHe was kind of wierd, so I didn't think much of it. She didnt even say thanks or aknowledge me... she just kind of darted out of the showroom, head down, no eye contact.

So as I'm getting ready to shut things down yesterday, I go to the fridge to grab some cold ones for my boss and I.

WHAAAAT??? Where are the beers we got yeasterday???? MY Boss: DId you drink em? Me: Hell no!

... That lady swiped our beers! Ha ha ha I would have never guessed she would have done that. She looked like a typical librarian -or granny.

Damn! Can't trust anyone.

I can relate to Bruce's story.

I actually installed a camera system at a funeral home a few years back. They were having a theft problem.

In the back room, they kept cases of soft drinks, beer, and liquor, and someone was stealing cases of soft drinks.

One dumb ass employee was stealing Pepsi.

Apparently he didn't drink the hard stuff, being a good upstanding bible thumper.

Uhm.....is your brother found? This would be the least of my worries let alone I wouldn't even be into work and would be out doing everything I could to find him... WTF man it would be the most f****d up thing to lie about this if this is yet another BS story. I hope for your sake it's true but if it's not clear out your lie and go crawl somewhere else....this is getting rediculous man...

BTW why is there no alert or post about your missing brother on FB?!?! All I see is a post about Donald Trump. This had better not be a lie man...

On another note.....

Got a call from a yoga studio yesterday, Mic was acting funny so I went out to check it over.. Found the BNC connectors were not properly connected, Ran to ADI and soldered on new ones, worked perfect (mind you this system was very well done). Then the owner asked if I wasnt busy if I could come check out her house as nothing worked right and the now nationally known defunked CI firm in my area did the system and they were stuck with a non functioning system...Turning out to be a complete gut of TC and replace with C4 along with some other things..Wake up this morning to an email asking if I could quote her on setting up a 2nd yoga studio with AV and If i could meet her there today to discuss options....

I get there, walk around give her rough numbers, she then whips out her checkbook and says "Just make sure it sounds good- is really LOUD and my employees can easily use it" I dont care what it costs!

Pretty excited how just a simple hour long service call just turned into 40-50k worth of work! :D Ohh and the owner/employees are certainly very easy on the eyes! lol

The service call didn't turn into 40-50k...YOU... turned a service call into 40-50k. Another company would have shot themselves in the foot at the first call by trying to sell a new mic or something else or they wouldn't have ran out to ADI and came back same day. Nice work.

Stretch the yoga project out as long as you can. Tell them you can work quietly while class is in session :D.

I had a flat today on the work van. It was around 4:00pm and I still had a service call to finish (actually, the job was replacing all the networking equipment). Remember, I'm in the mountains, and flat ground to change a tire on isn't every where. So I limped on down the shoulder on the rim, to this dew drop in (10 points to anyone that knows that one). Once we were in a sufficient area to change the tire, we found that the lug wrench sucked monkey balls (thanks GM for that stupid ratchet idea) and the last time we had tires put on our van, the moron doing it used an impact wrench and drove the lugs on as hard as he could get them. No torque bar for him. I finally got home about 9:00pm

Oh, and I have pictures
