I found out a bunch of my friends were laid off today. My office closed last week and they fired all my co-workers. For some reason they kept me on and are sending help from 75 miles away everyday.

Why not sub those guys out? Seems like a waste to drag folks in from an hour a way.

Sorry Roddy, never a comfortable time with things like that happening around you.  I've kind of lost track... are you with Via?

That is great Mac, I need to put that as my avatar somewhere. I would probably have a lawyer contact me though.

Ah, that's really too bad. Hope things turn out well for you and your (former) colleagues.

I joined the double score club today. And after taking my son camping two weekends in a row, I'm to the conclusion that getting old really does suck. I may call in sore tomorrow.

Rhea and I had several beers at 9000 feet yesterday. Entertaining way to finish off a working weekend.

It was great hanging with you man. Wish I would have known to look you up sooner.

OK for the record, Roddy lives in paradise, freaking paradise, If any of you guys get an invite or a chance, you have to come.

Dragonfly 106" AcoustiWeave, JVC Pro DLA-RS49 projo, Episode L/C/R & dual in-wall subs, Stealth Acoustics surrounds & surround backs in the columns, Aventage '740, C4 control with 8 lighting loads & T-stat, Somfy curtain motor, & custom star ceiling. Modest audio but the lighting control & simple automation makes for a slick system.

Very Nice!!!

Bang & Olufsen installed an 85" BeoVision Avant TV with BeoLab speakers at one of my projects last week. TV has the optional motorized floor mount that pivots away from the wall and swivels into viewing position.

Here's a video. If you look closely you can see the TV move in to position and the speakers drop from the bottom and expand outwards... cool TV!

Are you using any kind of control system here? I am starting a project with 3 Avant 55's next week.
